Another one that I have heard was www.AllTheWhey.com. Never tried Protein factor or AllTheWhey but both seem like good bets. I hear a lot of complaints about the customer PF. But not about the products.

I like Proteinfactory.com since they give you the freedom to customize your own protein blend. The waiting time to get your custom made order might be a couple of weeks... But I order 30-40 lbs at the time so that is never an issue for me!

Yup! me and my wife tear thru that protein in no time. she drank PF proteinshakes all thru her pregnancy even...

thanks for the links guys, but that wasnt what i was looking for. i'll be more specific this time. whats the difference between their protein blends? for instance, for whey protein they have:
CFM Whey Isolate
Ion Exchange Whey Isolate
Iso-Chill Whey Isolate
Whey Protein Concentrate

which one is the best? do some taste really bad? has anyone used any of these?

plus, they have about 15 other types of protein powders. should i stick with whey or try something else?

I really can't even fathom how it takes that long. In reality, it shouldn't at all. If they want to improve business they should work on that......the website was a good first step but this is much more important IMHO.
that's why i love the AF store...if only they sold protein, i'd be set

When you consider they make a custom blend of protein for every customer order, it is pretty easy to understand why it may take 2 weeks to get your order... If you want it at your home fast then order some of the bottled stuff that you can get anywhere... if you want your own custom made stuff then you will have to wait 2 weeks.

Custom orders should take a little longer but i'm refering to regular orders. Like a basic caseinate or whey. That shouldn't take the same time as a costume order, yet it does.

To answer your question, the differences in protiens are the differences in their breakdown time and/or absorbtion rate. Whey being broken down fast and absorbed quickly such as for the use of a Post work out shake... Others like Calcium Cassienate and Egg Protien are broken dowm more slowly and therefore absorbed slower, which are good fo MRP's or between meal shakes.

thanks gold. but what about the differences between the different wheys products like:
CFM Whey Isolate
Ion Exchange Whey Isolate
Iso-Chill Whey Isolate
Whey Protein Concentrate

Whey Isolate is a purer form of whey. Has almost no lactose/sugar or fat.

Whey concentrate has a few grams of each per serving.

Except for a post workout drink where you want as little fat as possible Whey isolate would probably be best. Otherwise the small amount of fat/milk sugars should not be an issue and it is cheaper.

CFM, Ion Exchange are just the different methods that the Whey Isolate is produced. Don't know what benefits one has over the other.
