Pyramiding routine

Hey, is anybody doing a pyramiding routine right now? When I weight trained in high school I did a pyramid up routine, just its been 3 years and I can't remeber what the reps/% of 1RM ratios are. And the reps/% for each day leading up to maxes.

Hopefully somebody knows what I'm talking about. I think the program was mostly for strength.

i maxxed today and did a 8, 6, 5, 4, 2, 2, 1, 1, etc for max. it worked really well.

you could 12, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1.

for more strength 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, 1 would probably work better, but it has been years since i stuck to a pyramid for a solid stent. i am just starting it again after a couple months of 5x5.
 
do you have a premise of % for the reps. Like 10reps @50%, 8 reps @65%, etc... and if I remember right, most of the weeks leading up to max day, the most (heaviest) that I would do is like 3reps at 80-90%. Does that sound right?

Man, there's gotta be some articles somewhere, need to talk to my old gym teacher. He was a fricking pretty big dude.
