Pwo Shake Using Dextrose....

okay i need some help here. i saw an article posted that talked about the importance of a great pwo shake and the need for dextrose etc. so i went out and bought some and made my first shake according to the article. im cutting so the article said for cutting you want 2.5 grams of dextrose and protein in your shake for every 10 pounds you weigh. me weighing 180, that would mean 45 grams of each. now, for the protein side, i just took two full scoops from my protein mix and that gave me just what i needed with that. i then took the same scoop and put two scoops of the dextrose in, and mixed it up. it tasted like pure sugar. i almost wanted to throw up. is this all the right way to do it or did i do something wrong here? any and all help would be greatly appreciated bros. thanks.

thats right. add some flavor (old time lemonade is good) or somwthing similar to kool aid.

though IMO the ratio for dextrose is too low. 3-4g/10lb is more appropriate.
