PW Shake

I've been cuttn hard lately (too hard, skinny and down to 6%)...anyways, I knocked off the PW shake and just been getting a solid meal in around 1hr post workout. Although I still pop 5g of powdered glutamine and two swishes of this nast ass fake cherry flavor aminos as soon as I'm done.......no ill effect yet.....you guys ever tried something similiar? I
ll give it another few weeks and if shit rolls, then I
ll jump back on my whey, dex. shake.......we'll see. Just found that I had a REALLYU hard time eating ANYTHING after that shake. It was Designer and Celltech (I know, I know...it was cheap)......but I train at night and hate the thought of not having anything solid in my stomach between lifting and bed.

If ANYTHING, Designer and Cell-Tech aren't cheap! They're EXPENSIVE in price :) ...Ohh, quality? Yeah, cheap :(

When you state you can't consume ANYTHING an hour after your PW shake, what do you normally eat or try to eat? I haven't had that problem, though the shake fills you up, I'm still able to get some brown rice/chicken a little thereafter
 
I prob. could do that, except I hate eating carbs later in the day.....I usually have 4oz of chick or fish with some steam veggies and a salad...maybe some cottage cheese on top....that's it...maybe too many veggitables and they are bloating me? Just a thought...
 
Jkurz i know how you feel, i train at night and have to have some propper food after training after my pw shake but sometimes i just cant stomach it...

Maybe take your post workout shake during training, sipping on it frequently and then when u get home eat normal? this is something i'm gonna try.

i can tell days when i train hard but miss my PW shake, i feel crap, like yesterday i had a tough training session and just had whey powder and a sports drink post workout and today im achey! :( normally im good to go
 
I haven't had a PW shake in 2 weeks and haven't felt a bit of a difference.......BUT, when I try and get a decent meal in a hour of training, my stomach feels like it's gonna explode...

Meal isn't big either....4oz of chx or fish...and some steamed veggies...ok, a lot of steamed veggies and some cottage cheese.....too much fiber?
