push press technique

I can't find anything about push presses of where the bar is supposed to be positioned and the arms. Is it in the Clean position or like the military press position?

Also, with high pulls...are they just like the start of the clean but instead of racking it on your shoulders you pull it high WITH your arms pulling it up?

Yeah you rack it on your shoulders like you do in the clean, there is a demo of it here:

Im not 100% sure about high pulls, my coach has never had me do them but im pretty sure you ve got the right idea. Just remember your arms shouldnt be pulling it up, they just go up with the bar with the momentum created by the jump shrug.

Great link on the push press.

High pulls are just the beggining of the clean except you explode up through and get the bar as high as possible without trying to catch it. Typically you use fairly heavy weight here to help build strength through the full pull without the catch.
