Pus bad?

I have been looking on google for some information but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. I did my third test shot yesterday. There was some white stuff (pus?) at the base of the needle and some that came out after I pulled out the needle.

I have almost no pain. The reason I think it may be bad is when I did the google search one of the results said something about seeing pus to see a doctor but when I clicked the link I couldn't find that in the document.

I have had blood lot's of times but never puss. I'd probably wait and if it happened again i'd consider going to have it looked at. I don't go to doctors though unless i'm about to die.

If it was really puss then there is an infection. An infection, deep in a muscle, is generally a bad thing.

sure thing, don't wait to get it checked out. Early detection is always for the better.

Pus = infection! Go see a doc and make sure it's not an abcess or turning into one. One way to now if it's turning into something bad is if the area is hot or warm and or or hurts to touch also see if it's spreading outward!

It is not hot or warm to the touch. There is no redness or swelling. It is completely normal except the white stuff that came out.

I feel 100% all over.

Oh dear god. I still have the needle I used yesterday and I just looked at the base of it. It's not puss, it's the white material they use to connect the needle to the screw that attaches to the syringe casing. It seemed like something came out of the hole but that might of just been some oil. I'll give it a day or two because honestly this is the most painless, normal injection out of the three I have done.

I'll keep an eye out for it.

Had this happen to me about a year ago in my left delt. I saw some puss after a did a shot and decided to see exactly what was in there. I proceeded to pull out 3 full syringes of thick puss. Than took my ass to the E.R. where the doc agreed to let me run antibiotics to see if I could eliminate the problem without cutting me up. Two weeks later the problem was gone. Dont wait get it checked out, its definately infected NO QUESTION about it.
