Hello all,
Monday I went back to the gym. First time in 6 months. Due to a motorcycle accident and depression.
So, Saturday I go in and renew my membership. Monday I went in early in the morining and do about 10 min of chest and all Light weight. 3 sets of 135lbs at 15reps and 3 sets of bench flys 2-10reps and 1-8reps. Then on Tuesday night while I was sleeping. I turned over and a sharp pain went through my right pec. I checked for any ripping of the muscle. No brusing at all.
I got up and took Tylenol. Hoping it would die down enought so I could sleep again. I checked for any ripping of the muscle. No brusing at all.
The tylenol helped. But, I was parilized the next moring and had to roll out of bed.
My chest has lactic acid buildup on my left side pec and my right side is like it is pumped up all day and night.
I am going to go back to the gym only when this heals. But I am only getting it a week then I am going back.
Any help would be nice. Do you think a week is enough or should I wait longer. I am still wanting to go back and do leg work but I want to be able to move the rest of my body.
It hurts like a bitch to drive my car. It is a 6-speed Firehawk Trans-Am. But it is worth it still.
