Pulled my hamstring while benching

deco

New member
Last set last rep. has anyone ever accomplished this? and no you did not see me do this because I looked around right after this whole spastic ordeal went down.

haha yea go figure. my left hand was giving out and I decided to use every single muscle in my body to get the damn thing up. I'm suprised i didn't somehow screw up my back. It was an ugly visual.

Stop bridging up the wait and keep your arse on the Bench

how much were you benching though that is the question

if it was 400+ then Im not gonna comment on your form lol

I pull my hamstrings and erector muscles while benching from time-to-time. I do bridge, but my ass stays firmly planted on the bench. To me it's more of an issue of tucking my elbows and benching off my rhomboids.

so, what's the point of benching 400+ with terrible form ?

Isn't it best to gradually increase the weight?

yeah but if he is benching 400+ with bad form he can probably hit mid 300's strict which is decent and its stronger than me lol.

I'd think most 400+ lb benchers have at least a little arch in their back and drive in their legs.

this never happened to me, then again a good percentage of you can bench a lot more than me, yet i'd imagine in the end the effort put in would be similar as we struggle to get weights up. anyways careful, an injury would suck.

p.s my pecs are cool!!!

want to know what I'm about to pull?

Elevate your feet using a stepper

Im 6'3 with long ass legs so i dont need one when I do rarely bench

or use a upright machine bench

Im 5'7 and I plant my feet on the floor easily and get good leg drive without my ass leaving the bench....

less tensed legs or better developed hamstrings. shit like this isnt supposed to happen

you wanna have a firm legplant so naturally you will be tensed.
even the most sick hamstrings (nfl recievers) get pulled all the time.
shit i had a light high ham pull about two months ago just doing half assed 50 yrd sprints
