pulled groin, need treatment advice

This is kind of off topic but I need some quick advice from some of you athletes. I pulled my groin playing flag football. I'm carrying probably 20 more lbs than usual this year and I think that played a part in the injury. I made a quick lateral cut and just felt it when I did it. I got playoffs in 2 weeks and really want to be 100%. Today its effing killing me.

I did ice already but anything else I should do?
Should I try to stretch it in the next few days even though its extremely painful or just leave it alone? Whats best for treatment?
thanks

man, after years and years of me playin soccer and baseball all thru high school and college, groin injuries were my worst enemy. It never seemd like there was mch that coulb be done than wrap your upper quad (not sure why this helped, but it did) and continue to ice down and take your anti-inflammatories.

Was always a waiting game for me, but best of luck bro!! I truly feel ur pain!

yea me too bro. thanks for the input busa
I got some 800mg ibuprofen but I seriously hate taking that shit for some reason. Would heat be better than ice since it doesn't look swollen? Can barely lift my goddam leg. So pissed off right now. Just frustrated.
This used to happen to me in College and I had trainers to help fix me up... but now I'm on my own.

You will want to do ice 20 min on/ 1 hr off for the first day or two. After that, alternate heat and ice. Definately before you play, apply heat to help loosen the muscle and help promote blood flow to that area.

I lived on 800mg ibuprofen thru each one of my injuries...never would resort to heavy narcotics cause i cant stand the way it makes u feel....i would definately take those regularly to prevent swelling.
