I went to see Alice in Chains, who I never got to see cause they hardly or basically never toured from 93-98 when Layne Stanley died. The new singer is pretty good. Regardless they kicked ass though.
Deftones also played= horrible sellout westcoast hardcore

but mastodon was so fucking sick opening

i wish i lived in the bay area, their scene is so good right now..not like its ever been bad, but there arent a lot of shows here that are up to my standards these days. in the mid/late 90's i would hit 3-4 shows a week sometimes.

I use to go see D.R.I., slapshot, sick of it all, gorilla biscuits, Nuclear Assault, Exodus, Pantera (cowboys from hell), Suicidal, Testament, etc
Music now is teh suck
