PT Job Opportunity?

I was recently offered a job at a local gym in AZ that is a great gym. However,
they already have 22 trainers and they can't give me any guarantees when
I'll have clients. They pay $15 an hour as an independent trainer which is
peanuts but is a start.

They do all the sales but expect you to keep 50% of the clients you train. I love
fitness and desire to train but bills don't pay themselves. Anyone have advice?

Why would they hire another trainer if they already have 22 on staff? Seems odd?

They want you to bring clients in. Period. Gym's are selling grounds....don't ever forget that. Why not try a smaller facility?

If they do all sales it sounds like a good place to get experience - whatever the case, you should keep your eye clearly on the goal of going solo as soon as possible.
