Psychics, Who has been to one?

A friend of mine at the gym was telling me about going to one. Everything this woman told her and all. Then she told me she paid $50 for this visit. For $50 that woman should have told her what her life history was and everything her future holds. Instead she answered 3 questions and told her she would ahve to come back for a full reading, for 100 dollars!

I told her to give me her money next time, and I'll tell her future.
Her future is, she just lossed $50.

Anyone ever been?

whole thing freaks me out. especially after seeing that sopranos episode where paulie visits one and the guy says 'has the itch from the poison ivy gone away yet?' or words to that effect

yeah for fun i went once...

i tried to not give her any sort of feedback... and she was going further and further offtrack... so finally i told her i had gotten into a school (although i knew i couldn't afford to go)

so she made up some entire thing about seeing me there, blah blah

anyway, if anything, they make ppl feel better so i think it's not such a bad thing.
