Anyone play PS2 Madden online?

I lucked out and got an adapter Friday, this shit rules. A friend of mine at work has it too, it's like whooping his ass in person.

I am going to spend alot of time on the treadmill now playing madden

I have madden for the pc but there is a 5$ charge that EA has for playing online.

Is there a fee for playing on the PS2? I wouldn't mind checking out socom as I am a big FPS fan. Mind you, I haven't seen any network adapters around.

i have my adapter but its in the box still.. i'm iffy on opening it.. my cable is in this room and ps2 in another room.. how and what kind of chord do i get that will streth 30 feet so i can play in my room???? ANSWER ME NOW SO I CAN DESTROY YOU IN MADDEN

You need a router if you wanna hook up more than one piece of hardware to your cable line. You can just buy extension cables at your local computer wholesaler.

a joke? haha.. here..

1. dreamcast was the first to be online.. period.. it was online capable from DAY 1.. out of the box (surfed the web the first day i got it home)
2. the online play imo was great! even with 56k.. phantasy star online, and quake 3 ran great for me.. fun fun times
3. ps2 just got the online working.. what.. about 2 years late?.. they advertised it would be online capable out of the box.. ha! what a joke.. i hate sony for reasons like this. (although, they do have a AWSOME game selection for ps2)
