Proviron ?

I've been thinking of running proviron thru my next cycle as well in the clomid, recovery phase. Is this a good idea, would it be effective in recovery still, or not so well from having been run thru the cycle? If not , I would much rather save it for post cycle. Cycle would probably be 10 wks, maybe 12.

you can run it throughout, after or both. Today is my last shot of Omnadren, I've been using 50mg ed to help keep the water retention down. I will be using at 25mg ed after my cycle with clomid.

I suggest you to run proviron as a bridge from your last shoot to the first day you can start clomid therapy.
Mesterolone is an androgens so it coul dmake your clomid therapy less effective if you use them togheter.

i always use proviron the entire cycle to avoid gyno and water ret., but when i start the clomid i quit the proviron.Just my way, i know there are other opinions, but i feel good that way.No water, no gyno AND good recovery

Wow, quite diferring theories. One of my concerns was the proviron interferring with the clomid, I really would like to go that way to avoid the crash effect. I've heard it does and doesn't. Thanks bros', keep the replies coming.

Well bro,proviron if you like or not is an ANDROGEN and gives androgen feedbacks to hipofisis anyway.So if you know how clomid works,you can understand that the best way to use it(clomid)is use it alone or better with a powerfull anti-aromatase(arimidex,aromasin,femara)but no way run it with any androgens,anabolics and HCG.

Now that's what I thought all along, but guys on here claim it does not effect the htpa, wish someone could supply some data to back that up. As of now I plan on going with your advice, thanks Italionboy. And the others for the input.

I can post the absract, but there was a absract posted about proviron that was done on 440 males who were given either a 100mg dose or a 200mg of proviron for 1 year. The % of men whose HPTA were supressed( not shut down ) was 8% on the 100mg dose and 17% on the 200mg dose. Now that was a year of continueous administration and only a low % were effectived.
As you can see its not that strong of an androgen and shouldnt effect the actions of clomid a great deal.

I'm not trying to sway anyone, but show proviron androgenic properties to be very weak.

Hmmmmmm, what to do?Thank you Lawnsaver, that's the reply I was hoping for. It makes sense and I definitely wanted to go that route, I'm going to go with 50mg ED after cycle with clomid and post how it went, have to live and learn. Thanks again everyone.

Since you dont have and gear producing estrogen post cycle, 25mg is a solid dose. The lower you go the less negative effect on HPTA.

I was reffering to on cycle proviron use. Although most of it never reaches the AR in muscles due to the enzymatic conversion to diol, the little that does make it has a very strong affinity for the AR which in theory may block stronger androgens from binding. I guess post cycle use is fine but I dont see a reason for it, especially with stuff like arimidex and femara available now.

You are correct, arimidex and femera are much better choices. I cant even get them at a reasonable price yet.

I know proviron has a nack for binding to the AR, but the number of AR's is mind boggling. I personally think there is more than enough to go around while "on".
