Proviron

I've read that Proviron is a great anti-e but at the same time I've found prescribing information describing gyno type problems as side-effects of Proviron treatment. I'm sure I'm about to get a wide range of opinions here but I'd like to hear it.

Proviron is a derivative of DHT. Its biggest side effect is it can cause you to quickly shed hair. But it makes you lean and hard. It will not give you gyno (gyno is caused by estrogen). If anything, it may help block gyno. Here is an excerpt from the article:

It is 5-alpha reduced and not capable of forming estrogen, yet it nonetheless has a much higher affinity for the aromatase enzyme (which converts testosterone to estrogen) than testosterone does. That means in administering it with testosterone or another aromatizable compound, it prevents estrogen build-up because it binds to the aromatase enzyme very strongly, thereby preventing these steroids from interacting with it and forming estrogen. So Mesterolone use has the extreme benefit of reducing estrogenic side-effects and water retention noted with other steroids, and as such still help to provide mostly lean gains. Its also been suggested that it may actually downgrade the actual estrogen receptor making it doubly effective at reducing circulating estrogen levels.​

It is an anti estrogen so causing gyno does not make sense.

That patientUK link is confusing, it also states " May cause increased hair growth, may cause baldness".

I have read the same as all the bro's here have said, it actually helps prevent gyno.

No, you're not being a smart-ass. ;-) When searching the web, I use the "best 2 of 3" principle, since there is a lot of junk information on the web. I try to find 3 articles that answer my question, then compare them tp see which articles agree and try to discard the bad information.

No - I just like NL a lot. The place is crazy as shit and is good when you need a hard rush of adrenaline. My avatar is from a shootout I witnessed at Los Arcos. The picture is fuzzy but the shiny pickup with the doors open was carrying a couple AFI agents with machine guns. It was quickly followed up by some Humvees loaded with soldiers.

I'm from all over. I travel for a living and have places in SA, Florida, and the Bahamas. One of my hobbies is to travel to really freaky places in Central and South America and I can't resist NL. It has an extremely high freak-factor/accessibility ratio which can't be beat.
