Two markedly different actions... One blocks (Nolva), one slows / stops aromitization of AS (Proviron). As lawnsaver said if you do a search you will find more info than you care to read!!

Which is better is subjective!!! I personally like Proviron and use it in cycles regularly. Although I do keep Nolva on hand. Nolva may negatively impact overall gains. Proviron will not.

I agree with banshee, I like proviron better than any other.You kinda kill two birds with one stone, because it helps with sex drive also.Used it last week( was out of viagra)fucked all night and half the next day.What a woman!

Yes. And he could have answered his own question if he bothered to take the time to visit the site I posted and read about what the two drugs do.

I wish someone would post a study from a peer-reviewed medical or scientific journal (not an "underground steroid manual") that shows proviron has any antiaromatase properties. I have been unable to find one.

I think this notion arose from the similarities in chemical structure between Proviron and DHT. One study showed that DHT does exhibit some antiaromatase activity (1). However, a more recent study of transdermal DHT showed no significant consistent reduction in estradiol levels as a result of DHT treatment (2).

I would not rely on proviron to inhibit estrogen production.

Agreed... He could have.. But he extended the question to "any hint which is better". Reading the information would not have given him the answer to the question. At least not from experienced standpoint that you, I or other could have provide...

I dont think anyone said it had anti-aromatase properties. It stops test from converting to estrogen. It does not work on the natural production.

But then again, I do get harder when taking it without gear. I am interested in how it actually does this.

Aromatase is the enzyme that converts testosterone to estrogen.(Technically, it converts it to estradiol, which is an estrogen).
