How much protein can a body take in on one sitting before it gets stored as fat? I read somewhere your body only allows like 60 grams before it turns to fat. Can anyone back truth to this or was i reading a bunch of shit??
 
can anyone on this board answer this question? DAM!! maybve i should rephrase it, how much protien can the body take in on one sitting before being stored as fat???
 
I've read that 50g's every 2 and a half hours is the max. I don't think it gets turned into fat though. I think it get metabolized or pissed out. It also depends on how fast acting the protein is. Ceysonate and soy take longer to absorb, so they are good choices for night and you might be able to take over 50 g's.

I don't think anyone can give an exact answer to this question...there are just too many variables to take into account. But let's say you take in 60 g. carbs 20 g. of fat and 40 g. protein per meal, then if you are not extremely active (i.e. have a sit at your desk job like me) then probably no protein is stored as fat (hopefully), but some carbs and fat might be.
 
Depends and like The Terminator said, too many variables to consider. Genetics for one. Whether or not the person is active 2. Whether or not the person is taking anabolics in another.
 
thankx guys.....i am very active and do take aas. but i will keep the protien to 50g every 2-2half hours. thanks for the help!! Karma for both!
 
Ginger root also aides in protien absorbtion. I will allow your body to absorb up to 80g protein per sitting. Do a search on Yahoo for the herb and you'll find numerous studies on it. I'm currently taking 1600mg. ed.
