Protein vs. Fat vs. Carbs...?

Is there a conventional wisdom in how much carbs and fat the average person can reasonably synthesize while trying to hit a 2 grams of protein per lb of body weight daily intake across multiple meals for muscle growth?

Or maybe more appropriately, what percentage ratio should you be shooting for between protein, carbs, and total fat?

I'm asking about this from an "Ectomorphic" perspective. (I have very little problem with fat retention).

I think the best thing you can do is try to keep carbs and fat apart. Eat protein with carbs, and eat protein with fat, but avoid crossing carbs and fat. Personally, I get about 300-400g of protein a day, and the rest varies by whether I'm trying to lose or gain:

I don't take most of the sups in those links anymore, but at least you can get an idea of macro ratios that worked for me.
