Protein Pudding!!!

I just read a post on mixing protein powder with fat free Jello pudding mix and thought I give it a try. If you are tired of having the same old protein shake's then give this a go. I tried it and ate the whole thing, ha ha ha. Its a great way to get that protein you need with out the crappy taste!

1-serving of your favorite protein powder
1-pack of fat free jello pudding mix
2 cups of skim milk

mix together let stand for 5-10 minutes and bobs your uncle. Enjoy.
I think I'm going to make some more!

I make this all the time, great for killing cravings, especially with ANPB, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. The only thing i do differently is i use 12oz COLD water, no milk in my diet.

You can also add cinnamion and peanut/almond butter :)

Wouldn't frying the pancake mix with the protein in it denature the protein?
Optimum Nutrition makes a flavorless protien that is just for cooking. They have a long list of recipes for cooking with this protien...pancakes, potatoes, pastas, etc. So...no...cooking does not destroy whey powders.

What's it called?

I'll put it on my list of things to check out, so I can make this recipe.

It's Called "Any Whey" You can bake with it, etc......very handy stuff!!

Can you cook regular whey protein powder though?I always put mine in my oatmeal with hotwater and was wondering if that would denourish it.The water is pretty close to boiling hot.

I don't think you can cook with regular whey PP -- cuz it would denature. The AnyWhey is specially formulated to withstand the heat of cooking.....

I think tho if you make your oatmeal soupy then stir in the PP after cooking (keep it watery) then you'd be fine..... I also stir in Glutamine into my oats & mashed sweet taters too...

Hey, I tried making it with water, but it wouldn't form after I put it in the fridge. You ever get that problem?

I love protien pudding. It is my favorite snack.

Like john wb said, how do you get it to gelatinate w/ water??

also you can hit up the fat free/sugar free jello pudding. saves you some sugars then. thats gotta be the greatest product for dessert. its the calories of drinking a glass of milk....but you eat pudding!

it does denature it, if it wasn't somewhat denatured, our bodies wouldn't digest it very well, which is why our ancestors died of intestinal diseases.

Even the sugar and fat free has carbs though.
