Protein powder expiration

How long is protein powder good for after it's exp. date if it's been kept cool and the lid has been kept on?
 
hmm...there is an expiry date for a reason bro...
 
I know. Common sense right? I've heard different things. It could be a safety net for the company to keep from getting sued, or an overly cautious FDA regulation...
I'm pretty cheap right now though...
 
Who buys protein and doesn't finish it?
I run through mine like an oj from the law (haha?)

so yeah, dump what you got and pick up new.
If you don't drink it cuz of the taste or w/e... i'd suggest proteinfactory.com > big blast > orange flavor > + a sweetener.
I know flavors are sometimes whack in p shakes, but not this combo..
I actually LIKE to drink it, therefore not just pounding it, rather enjoying it... so my body does too

I have always been a fanatic of design your own protein, but everyone is loving big blast and unleashed and shit...

we have the best fuckin board sponsors lol, just wish PF sold in BULK!

Thanks bro. Yeah, you can get any combination of protein you want -- a "personal formula" at near wholesale prices. And the specialty stuff is second to none. You can't find a formula like BIG BLAST anywhere else. The tropical orange is the best flavor IMO.
 
I have been eating expired protein for years. Anywhere I can find dated rtd's, mrp's, or whey, I buy it. I bought 10 5lb jugs of eas whey for $50 a few months back. I've never had any problems with it. I'm pretty sure the FDA requires the expiration date. I'm not big on bars, but those are $5 a box at vitaglo.com in the closeout section. Anytime I go on vacation, I order a bunch. If I wasn't such a cheap ass though, I'd probably order from protein factory. GL
