Protein Intake While Dieting, Naturally???

How much Protein per pound of bodyweight do you take in a day while dieting and losing bodyfat, NATURALLY? I'm talking NO GEAR just an ECA stack! 1 gram per pound of bodyweight? More? Or less? I'm hearing conflicting views. What's your opinion???
 
vague question, what type of diet are you following :D
 
I take in about 1.2 grams/pound of bodyweight. I use the Anabolic diet for cutting (cyclical low carb).

Well, that'd be for bulking, but that's certainly not uncommon for weightlifters.
 
I think 1 gram of Protein per pound of bodyweight is MORE than enough to retain muscle while dieting, NATURALLY. Just adjust the Carbs and Fat and NEVER mixed them. I'd also recommend making at least 25-30% of your calories come from Fat. Especially, while dieting or you will feel like CRAP. Good sources like Flax, Olive, and Canola oil.
 
I think if you're a natural ectomorph like I am, you should try to keep your carbs a little higher in the beginning. Then, gradually phase them out while keeping your Protein at the same level(1 gram per initial bodyweight) and Fats moderate(25%) for natural Test production. Multiply your bodyweight by 11 then use this ratio- 40%Carbs/35%Protein/25%Fat. Use this as a guide.
