Protein blend vs Whey

What do you prefer?

I think blend is utilised more effectively because of the different absorption rates.
But whey is very good post workout.

A quality whey isolate is the way to go and if you wana slow down the absorption just add all natural peanut butter with it.

Which natty pb you go with man? I recently got a tub of organic all natty pb from Costco here in nsw... But it was 22% carb. 16% sugar, while some non natty or organic are lower..
Thinking of just grabbing the macro brand from Woolies :/
 
I prefer a blend personally. I don't like whey that much, and my best results have always been with a blend or good old school (and bad tasting) "milk and egg" protein. I think the whole fast absorption thing is over-rated, but of course everybody is different.
 
I gotta say I prefer the blend. Whey doesn't even compare to it in my eyes. I've gained the same amount of weight on the blend in 3 months than i done in a year with whey! (although i have had diet and training adjustments).
Just the concept of having amino acids delivered to the muscles over a longer period of time should be ringing bells in peoples heads!
But I do also agree whey is the best for post workout!

Bro I use sanitarium all natural peanut butter with only 1.3g sugars per 25g serving.
Look into it.
 
Why not both. Whey post workout and maybe blend before bed, so that your muscles are getting the proteins and aminos needed to build muscles while you sleep.
