I've heard that a person can only break down aprox 50g of protein at a time. Anyone know the truth to this? The reason I ask primarily is because of my MRD. I use ISOPURE & it has 50g of protein, well I also mix with 2 cups of 2% milk so there's 62 grams. I can conserve on the amount of protein powder use if I cut down & this info is correct. Also, if you miss a meal & decide to drink a shake with your next, that makes it wasted protein.
