Prostate

Hey, I have a cousin that has been running anavar and is experiencing what he beleives to be a swollen prostate (swelling, urge to urinate, painful ejaculation, irritated urethra etc). This guy has used steroids quite a bit and doesnt want to cut them out of his life, so aside from your usual GNC saw palmetto formula is there any other reasonable treatment for BPH for either diminshing prostate size and/or keeping it the same when he hits his next cycle.

could be prostatitis, maybe BPH, or some kind of urinary tract infection. he should see his primary physician, they mainly will treat with antibiotics if infections suspected(usually suspected probably at your friends age, ie under 45 years old), maybe an alpha adrenergic to relax the smooth muscle around the prostate, or finasteride depending on sevarity. but the doc will generally say to stop using AAS alongside these therapies. soaking in a warm bath(sitz bath) may help. Prostatitis is a pain in the ass...literally the worst thing is trying to put a 14 french catheter in a 80 year old man with the prostate the size of a grapefruit.
