Proscar question.

I started taking Proscar about 2 weeks ago since my harline has been receeding form all the roids.

My last cycle ended in February, and yes, I used Deca.

Well, my question is:

I have been noticing an incremet of hair in my hands when I wash my hair. Is it normal to shed some hair when use of Proscar is started for the first time or could it be that I have Deca left in me from the last cycle and it is interacting with the Finasteride?

Deca does last in your system for 4 weeks (give or take). But yes, Propecia(finestride) will cause initial shedding.

In fact, it can be quite extreme. But the shedding is only temporary and those sheded hairs will grow back. So stay w/ the regimine because in 4-5 months you'll notice a dramatic increase in hair.

Take a polaroid so you can compare. Use the same lighting and don't put anythng on your hair so you can compare the progress with the old photos.

Everytime I start to take it, I feel weak so I stop taking it after about two weeks. But I just started up again because I'm losing hair like a mofo, probably from starting then stopping. That's probably causing the initial shedding, and then i stop before it grows back. Hopefully I can stick with it this time.

ok, but lest define "shedding" here! I don't want to lose
anymore hair...hoping that is months I might get it back!!!


I have a very receeding line..thats all. IS this shedding going to continue ? for how long?
