I don't know if this is the right forum but, what's the conventional wisdom nowadays on protein intake? Is it still 1.5 to 2.0 g's per pound of bodyweight per day?

i'm 225lbs right now. . .i try to get 1g/per pound on non-lifting days and 300g's is my target on lifting days. . .i'm sure that i'm more often over than under. . .
Not being rude but was the heart enlargement from high quantities of protein or steroids because I know they cause that but I've never heard of protein intake doing that.

Why would you decreas protein consumption on off days? Your body needs building blocks to repair itself on off days as well bro.

It is his body weight, not the protein bro. He's like 5'5 and 260 pounds or something.
