proper procedure?

alright lets say you have a multi dose vial. if you are taking 1ml out of it, are you suppose to inject the same amount of air into the vial before drawing out the solution? make sense?

Im no genious but id say it doesnt matter. Pushing air into the bottle is for the purpose of easy extraction through creating a vacuum. When you have a full bottle it is not that hard to pull the juice in.
 
It really doesn't matter, it's not like the vial is going to cave in do the the vacum that is created. But, like VB said, it may make it a bit easier to withdraw because of the added air pressure.
 
I do, I forgot to do it once with some B-12 and it was hard as fuck to get that shit out and it sucked the dose back in when I let go. Yes go ahead and put in what you take out, it's much easier. I know when I use multidose vials I usually poke a 18 to draw with and swap out syringes and I inject whatever dose i'm going to take out in air so when I take off the syringe the stuff doesn't blow out.
