Progressive or switching steroids cycles?

Without getting into the eternal debate of short-cycle vs long cycle, will like to hear your comments about progressive or even switching steroids cycles Like this:

Progressive cycle:Week 1-5 Test enant. 750 mg/wk
Week 6-10 Test 750 mg/wk + 400 mg deca + 30 mg dbol/day

Switching cycle:
Week 1-5 Test 750 mg/wk
Week 6-10 deca 600 mg + 30 mg dbol/day

The theory is that when growth stops or slows down about week 6, you add other steroids so your body doesnt get used to the same thing

Comments?

your body doesn't work like that... wtf is going on with all those strange theories.

the deca needs to run for at leased 8 weeks during that cycle, the first 8 weeks. and why do you say gaines stop after week 6? if so then why do we cycle for 12 weeks or sometimes more? same goes for the test, running it for only 5 weeks isnt going to do much for you. you might want to re-think that theory.

Your body will get used to a particular aas at a certain dosage. Changing compounds periodically will allow you to continue to obtain gains without having to go into very high mg totals quickly.

It is widely observed that, after a plateau, switching steroids makes you grow again.

yes this is true but that is why we cycle these things at 8-12 weeks at a time. this way the body doesnt get used to it. but hes talking about not even giving the body a chance to use let alone get used to the AAS. 5 weeks is not long enough to do much on test and also on deca. its a waste in my opinion.

The body does not get used to "certain" AAS. The plateau happens because the amount of androgens available is less than the amount of receptors. So when you add more AAS then you continue to grow. This doesn't happen as quickly as most people think. The reason that most people on this board will stop growing is that they are not eating enough. When one adds muscle, the metabolism will increase accordingly. Most people ignore this fact and still eat the same amount, or even less due to no appetite, and hence no gains or slow gains are the result. So if after 6 weeks you stop gaining, check your diet first. Think about how long it took to gain when you were natural. Imagine if you stayed on 1 G of test for 6 months. I guarantee that you would still gain the whole time if you continually increased your calories.

I agree. Deca for 5 weeks is a complete waste because you don't even start feeling it's full effects until week 5. Test is around week 4-5.........unless of course, you're running prop or suspension. But even then it's still not long enough.

you don't stop growing you usually get the best results from deca the latter weeks unless you want to count the initial water weight gain, don't waste the deca.
