I have 6 of them, but I can't fit into them anymore. The jackets and pants are now too small. I now just wear dress slacks and dress shirts, but with out the tie, because the shirt necks have now become too small.

I need a shopping spree. BAD!

For those of you that must wear suits everyday....how many do you own? Actually wear? I realize this might be moved, but I wanted to post it here. :)

When I use to have to wear suits all the time I had anywhere from 15 to 20.

may I add that if you really want to dazzle your office mates you should consider wearing a cape. Case closed.

Preferably a Hatteras or Cod, but a Good Hope will do in a pinch.

I am totally with Nature Boy on the Cape thing.

Like 15 or so on the suits.

Get real good dress shirts as well. No need to go drastic Nordstrom has some good dress shirts for like $80. They will last longer and they are cut longer and tuck into the pants better. As for suits go on ebay and bid on them. I just got a Zenga suit for $375 and an Armani black label for $400...

What i would suggest without breaking the bank so to speak, is initially buy 3 - 4 suits. Black, blue, brown and like a charcoal. Spend more of your money on shirts and ties. Get a bunch of different colored shirts and you can interchange them with the different suits............Then you can slowly add some more suits as you go..........

Or just call the Fab 5 up

As much as Brooks Brothers is the frumpiest store around, they have the best dress shirts. Their "non-iron" shirts really work. I've bought "non-wrinkle" and "non-this-and-that" before and it's all bs. EXCEPT the non-iron shirts from Brooks Brothers. You just wash 'em, put 'em in the dryer and hang 'em, that' it. They look perfectly ironed when you go to work and they look perfectly ironed 10 hours later when your days is done. You put them in a suitcase, and hang them in a hotel and they look perfectly ironed when you wake up and go to that meeting.

And they're all 100% cotton. I have about 20 of them and not one of them has ever seen an iron and not one of them has ever been to a dry cleaner. And they're just $65 a pop. A steal.

It's Ermenegildo Zegna...not Zenga.....and if you watch the sales at Neiman's and Saks, you can find those for $400 all the time, plus, it beats trusting E-Bay, and fakes.......:)

whats the cut on the bottom of those brooks brothers shirts? I might pick up one but sometimes I wear dress button ups with nice jeans and would wear the shirt untuked.

Thats why I'd love to know if they are straight cut or bell cut. I hope someone understands what I'm talking about. Cause I might just be making up the bell and straight cut description.

Differs from model to model. I think there's 20 models or so. Go to a store and try 'em out.

Don't be a typo-hater. No one mocked you when you said worth Ave was in West Palm Beach.

(It's in Palm beach. We just kinda figured you knew that and slipped up. I'm sure you spend a lot of time there.)

I'm wioth you about shopping on the web....I would be wary of shopping on the web for suits...

And yet 99 out of 100 who know that it's Zegna, not Zenga, still pronounces it Zenga...

Yeah thats what I'll end up doing. Was thinking of just ordering online, but going to the store is a better idea.

True Dat!:D

Wait, wait, wait... There's an Ermenegildo Zegna in St Louis? If so I'll take back everything I've ever said about St Louis.

(pitbull, hypothetically speaking of course, I’ve never ACTUALLY said anything about St Louis and trailer parks, rednecks or hillbillies. that would have been mean--and I’m not like that)

You ever go to Mark's at City Place? Seafood themed restaurant, not too bad....

I have five pant suit's and two dress suits. I love that most of the time they stay in the cedar lined closet. God, I hate dressing all foo foo to visit clients.

I've had to wear them more often as of late...Sucks! Give me my comfy clothes anyday of the week than the stuffy look!

Reason why I was asking....so far I've got 2. Light brown and Light Gray. I am in school and they are making us wear them all of the time! We are going on an all day field trip tomorrow and they are making us wear a suit. Four hours on a bus in this horrible contraption...not cool.
