I feel you, I went through the same shit. Try to become friends with her again and then just work from there. If I could tolerate my ex's personality again thats what I would do but after two years of it, I just dont have the resolve to deal with her anymore.

Sometimes it seems impossible to let go. In my case, the first (real) relationship lasted nearly 9 years, and it was very tough. Now 4 years later, we're on good terms, and that's despite the fact that I married her best friend.
