Problem With Computer..

The damn thing keeps shutting down on me. I have restored it and run virus scans, but the problem keeps occuring. What the hell can I do to fix it, this shit is starting to fucking piss me off.

Move the machine closer to the window, it's probably not getting enough solar energy to stay running.

This always works with my calculator.

Try and describe when its happening, otherwise there are a million and one guesses, failing powersupply, kicking it too many times, who knows.

Describe the problem better, how long does it take to shut off? Does it usually do it at the same times?

It could also be a CPU fan thats busted, and overheating, again, more info

Yeah, its XP. What it does is go to a blue screen and says there has been a problem detected on your computer and windows has to shut down. What a piece of shit.

Are you able to get into Windows at all? Or does it do this before you can get in?

No access on phone tech support with the vendor?

Right click "my computer"
Select "properties"
Click on the "advanced" tab
Click on "settings" in the "Startup and recovery" section
Remove the check from the "automatic restart" in the "system failure" section.

That should stop the shut downs but you will have to find out what the problem is.

I can get into windows, its just that at any time out of nowhere the screen pops up.

From there, look in your control panel and see if any hardware conflicts might be going on, or bad drivers etc
