For 2 nights, while I was trying to fall asleep in my bed, my heart rate was *resting* at 120bpm. My chest felt like it was going to explode if I laid down. It didn't hurt near as bad if I sat up, but it still hurt enough to complain. There was definetly *something* abnormal about the situation.
Let me try and explain my family's heart history. On my mother's side, only her dad had heart problems, and he smoked for 50+ years and so did his wife who's still alive today. On my dad's side, his 2 brothers and 1 sister all abused recreational drugs and drink/smoke all the time. They've all had heart problems. The people who were not involved in any of that haven't had any problems so far.
