HI!
Im new here and Im from Croatia.I have a question regarding personal training in nyc. U c Im plannig to visit ur beautiful coutry in August, and am interested in doing some personal training during my stay, but im not sure if ill get work permit or if i even need that. and what r the chances for me to work as a personal trainer when i come over there. Please help

ps. Im also a competitive bodybuilder placed 10th in fitness category world championships last year... so im very expierenced

Depends on where your coming to, contact a gym in that area weeks before to let them know youll be their and your credentials maybe theyll make a little flyer up for you and possibly have clients ready for you when you get their. Id say overall slim chance tho, our country is flooded with trainers that have NO personal experience in what they teach... How many trainers out their are built like shit themselves? Alot, which means for guys like you who actually have the background and didnt just read some book you may have a better chance. Good luck!

Most people that will pay for personal training are not interested in becoming a bodybuilder - they just want to be more fit; big difference between the two.

Unless you have some sort of certification (being a toplevel competitive bodybuilder does NOT automatically mean that you are qualified to train most of the population)you have very little (if any) chance of becoming employed in this arena.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I am just giving it to you straight.
