IN PRISON... you spend the majority of your time in an 8X10 cell.
AT WORK... you spend the majority of your time in a 6X8 desk
cubicle.

IN PRISON...you get three meals a day.
AT WORK...you only get a break for one meal and you pay for it.

IN PRISON...you get time off for good behaviour.
AT WORK...you get more work for good behaviour.

IN PRISON...the guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you.
AT WORK...you must carry around a security card and open all the
doors for yourself.

IN PRISON...you can watch TV and play games.
AT WORK...you get fired for watching TV and playing games.

IN PRISON...you get your own toilet.
AT WORK...you have to share with some idiot who pees on the seat.

IN PRISON...they allow your family and friends to visit
AT WORK...you can't even speak to your family on the phone.

IN PRISON...the taxpayers pay all expenses with no work required.
AT WORK...you get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then
they
deduct taxes from your salary to pay for prisoners.

IN PRISON...you must deal with sadistic wardens.
AT WORK...they are called managers.

Well Lexy,to be honest with you if I got paid the same amount in prison as I do for work I'd probably take jail.I hate my job and I've done plenty of prison time and the main thing that really sux is not seeing my kids.As for any bubba's I'm a bit of an animal and dont mind a good blue and there aint fuck all else to do than thrash some fag who tries to put it over me.

Work is fine for me... kinda slow lately.. I am on EF all day, I call up people sometimes. I eat 5-6 times at work... so its all good
Prison... been in jail once for a few hours... that sucked.. never gonna get arrested again (i hope )

Armed rob,assault & amphetamine charges.I did 6 years at woodford max security near caboolture in queensland.You can have contact and non contact visits but my partner didnt want my boys to see me in that enviroment.I did eventually convince her to bring them coz at some low points they were the only thing keeping me going.Some of the charges were in a different state and I had to be extradited wich sucked.It really opened my eyes,I was only young and thought I was hard but I certainly learned to shut my mouth fast.I was only 65kg when I went in and put on a good 40kg due to staying of the speed and working out.I made a lot of good mates and learnt a great deal about myself and sometimes despite all the violence that goes on I think it would be easier back behind bars than having to face the real world.Its pretty full on out here to.

Wow, I don't know how you survived 6 years in gaol. Did anyone try to hurt you or rape you etc?

Yes,on a regular basis.I eventualy got in with some lifers and they looked after me coz I had heart and never gave anyone up.As I said I was only little when I went in so I was vulnerable but I still stuck up for myself and put up a good fight.I've been bashed,stabbed and even pissed on.You just have to keep your mouth shut and fight back or if you be a coward you will cop it everyday for the rest of your sentence.They will move on to an easier target eventually.Snitches and child molesters cop it the most though and usually end up dead.
