^^^yeah bro the elliptical for 45 minutes isn't like running. I have an article up in the endurance section on the elliptical, its just momentum.. it is no where close to what running is. you run for 30 minutes or 45 minutes straight trust me you will definately shed away fat and muscle
you forget I was a competitive runner for 2 years. trust me on this. there is a pic of me on my profile of when i was a 5K and half marathon runner, i weighed 133 in that pic. today I weigh 185. runners are scrawny as hell, go to a 5K race sometime, they have very little mass on their frames. I hated being a scrawny guy thats why i got into bodybuilding, I love having mass
I'm not anti-cardio, I'm just saying there is a fail/safe point .. its hard for people to understand who haven't run a lot in their lives but there is a point where you will deplete yourself and the body will begin burning away fat and muscle. so yes DO CARDIO, but don't do too much if you want to keep your muscle.
