prexisting gyno

i friend that has gyno in one of his nipples from cycling in the past and it is still sore is there anything that he can take to try to make it go away

letrozole, aromasin , AIFM, even arimidex (if mild and currently off cycle). Letrozole is the most potent, but this has caveats. Milder AI's can be just as effective.

Letrozole and/or Nolvadex.

do you guys think it will make it go away without surgery. i don't know much about gyno because it was never a issue with me. to busy watching my hair recede and regrowth on my shoulders

it can. though what drugs were you taking at the time that you got gyno (or drugs that worsened it).

IMO nolva should rarely be used for treating gyno, it is poorly suited for it for a # of reasons not the least of which is the upregulation of the PgR (which E can bind too)

Ive stated this on many other posts, but here goes again. I had gyno in both nipples. The right lump was the size of a dime, and the left was the size of a nickel or a quarter. Nothing worked and it started to get worse. I started letro and within 1 week, the right one was waaaay smaller and the left one was about half the size. A few weeks later, the right lump is gone and the left is almost gone.

Now, as for Nolva, its useless. Nolva will NOT reverse gyno! Its useless at doing so. Letro and arimidex are about the only 2 things that will, but letro has been proven much stronger and is considered one of, if not the best anti with reversal effects on gyno. Buy some letro and get on that shit.

I've used Helios with great success in the past on abdominal fat.

Would this help if injected directly into the gyno?

His best bet is letro. The most effective gyno cure is letrozole; if he has prolactin related gyno, he should add dostinex.

i forgot he hasn't cycled in 2 years

Same story...he'll just use lower dosages, you can start him with 1-1.25mgs of letrozole ED and see how he does within the first 4 weeks.

Letro dosing:

1. Already using an anti-e aside from letro.
2. Already using letro @ a dose of .25mg or .50mg ED.
3. Not running any estrogen protection.

1.
Day 1: .25mg Letro + anti-e*
Day 2: .50mg Letro
Day 3: 1.0mg Letro
Day 4: 1.5mg Letro
Day 5: 2.0mg Letro
Day 6: 2.5mg Letro **

2.
Day 1: .50mg Letro
Day 2: 1.0mg Letro
Day 3: 1.5mg Letro
Day 4: 2.0mg Letro
Day 5: 2.5mg Letro **

3.
Day 1: .50mg Letro
Day 2: 1.0mg Letro
Day 3: 1.5mg Letro
Day 4: 2.0mg Letro
Day 5: 2.5mg Letro **

I can vouch for this firsthand. Not everyone is severely prone to this, but it definately happened to me! I stopped taking Nolva and concentrated on another ai and did fine. Later, I thought it would be ok to add in nolva again and my nips got puffy, the small knots seemed to kinda fill up and get more kinda soft- sponge effect, and I started secreting a tiny bit of clear liquid again. Don't get the wrong idea, this was all hardly noticeable, but I was watching for effects closely. I dropped the nolva a few days ago and now puffiness has died down and swelling reduced again. Ugh. What a struggle, I'm just going to stick with letro for gyno- and sometimes formestane while on cycle and pct.

It will reside sure, but it wont 100% completely go away.. Look into surgery and have the gland removed and you wont have to worry about taking any drug anymore.. I did, best thing for me in my opinion.

Will aromasin help with prog. gyno (whichever gyno is caused from tren)?

all AI's will help. letro, aromasin, AIFM, even arimidex can all reverse gyno. some are better choices for a variety of reasons. However AI use will not necessarily reverse gyno, letrozole is no exception.

question here, similar thing ... but my bros already running nolva @ 40mg ed ... once he begins letro could he drop the nolvadex althogether or even with letro would there be a chance of estrogen rebound?
ps. nolva seems to have helped puffyness and tenderness, but as for the hard lump under the affected nipple that just seems harder/larger.

if he stops nolva now (if he has run it for more than a couple weeks) then it will take at least 6-7 weeks to clear his system (4-5 weeks if shorter use).

IMHO AI's are almost always preferable. Nolva should only be used if not responsive to AI's treatment.

IMO start letro now and drop the nolva

when progestins are involved there is strong evidence that nolva can aggravate since it upregulates the PgR (which btw- E can bind to)- as stated above

macro ... hes been on it less than 2 weeks, would tapering off for a nother week or two once starting the letro be a better idea? i guess either way it wont really matter; nolva blocks estro, letro kills it completely, so i guess there wont really be enough estrogen to in fact rebound. how many days does it take for the letro to inhibit estrogen enough to drop the nolva althogether?

rebound is not the issue, even in the presence of letrozole, nolva will upregulate the PgR. (less an issue with letrozole suppressing natural estrogen-- however still [/b]may have impacts contrary to goal of reduction).

there are rebound issues with letro, though they are minimal because of its half life-- better to switch from letro to a suicidal (aromasin or AIFM).

thanks macro ... hell be starting the letro @ 2.5 mg ed and dropping the nolva... as it seems to have only made things worse. Hell then be tapering off the letro onto some AIFM or something, but hell cross that bridge when he comes to it.

I don't have gyno currently but was wondering how long do you have to use the letro to keep the gyno off permanently???
