Does anyone have any good info on prevention of stretch marks? i know Vitamin E works well but does anyone know when to put it on? before lifting? after? before sleep? or should i just have it on all day. thanks.

I imagine before lifting is a good bet as it before sleep while you are sitting around.

Keep in mind that nothing is going to stop them if you grow faster than your skin can accomodate. They are permanent and even under the best conditions will only fade but still be visable.

I find it very hard to believe rubbing some Vitamin E cream on the area where you think you'll get a stretch mark will prevent them from happening. I've tried it before with no visible results. In my opinion there's really nothing you can do about them short of going to a dermatologist...

Vitamin E, aloe, lotion, or any of the other things aren't going to do shit for your streatch marks when your skin goes to ripping. I speak from personal experience. Go to a Walmart pharmacy and look for udder balm. It is in the shape of a cow. It will stop the stretch marks even if they are torn and bleeding... EXCELLENT stuff!

Stretch marks on your traps? That's a new one...

thanks for the info stew. I'll def try to find that, when do you recommend putting it on though? during lifting or some other time?

Daeo, It is not that common I guess, they are on the inside part of my trap, they are not as bad as my outer pecs but still noticable :(

Stew is always on top of things. Utter balm worked wonders on my friend. It is also a must have for your lips if you are on Acutane.

vitamin E never did shit for my strectchmarks. I just take it thinking that its a good antioxident. I wish stew was around when I started growing. The balm could have saved my skin a lot.:bawling:

Bump for info on this 'udder balm', has anyone seen it in the UK?
I am currently using a creme that is vitamin E based and designed specially for stretch marks in pregnant women. It costs a bloody fortune and doesn't relly seem to do much.

DAMN Mustang, your traps grew so fast that you got stretch marks, now that's what I call gains!!!!

And to think people don't trust his cycles, 'cause he's "inexperienced"....hehehe :D

It would be nice to get a list of the active ingredients in the Balm so that the bros from Europe can research it for equivalent products in their country...

Stew? any info on this?

more info!
What is it just like a lotion that works better than vitamin e?
Haven't tried it, been useing the odor-less coca butter lotion for a while, nothin.

IMO theres nothing that will slow down or stop stretch marks, my dermatoligist said there is absolutely no effective products out on the market

I used to be really into martial arts but I've "paused" lately. I know I can't get rid of the stretch marks I have, but is there a way to prevent new ones? Lotion every day to keep the skin elastic?

wow, thats wierd seeing this post dug up from over a year ago. What i've found is that nothing helps. My goal now is to get to very low BF before i bulk again, hoping i'll have some skin to spare once i get rid of the excess fat.
