Prescription Pad???

I don't know if this is the best place to put this, but theoretically... if one can get their hands on a prescription pad from a hospital... what could one do with it? Just from a purely educational stand-point...

It's just because I'm writing this... paper... on.. the sub---ject... I would have to know certain details on what I would need to fill in, and if the pharmacy actually calls the doctor's office to get it approved.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

In my research on this topic, I've heard you need a "tax ID number" as well. I can pretty much guess what THAT does... but I didn't know if they call on certain drugs and not others... I've heard they are pretty tough on pain killers like vicadin?

A guy on this board had stolen a pad from his doctor and posted on here what the guys recommended for him to get at the pharmacy . He got nothing but flames, its not a good idea bro., so just let it go!

I would throw that fucker in the trash, unless you like being somebody's bitch. They will stick it to your ass if you get busted, and you will get busted so don't even ponder an impossibility. You might could have gotten away with shit like that 10 years ago, but now with all the media hype and junkie paranoia both doctors and pharmacists are much more aware and careful.

You'll screw it up and the pharmacist will know it's fake
You'll get a separate felony charge for each one written

Pharmacists burn people that try to pass fake prescriptions on a regular basis.

As a doctor who has written thousands of scripts, I can tell you that you will get caught forging prescriptions. I had this occur three times in 14 years. The pharmacist detained the "patient;" called and faxed me a copy of the script for verification; then called the police and had the "patient" arrested on the spot all three times. Pharmacies are very good at detecting forgeries. Pharmacies also track filling and refilling patterns. Do not try to take prescription pads and certainly don't try to forge prescriptions. Even now, I get called every now and then to authenticate prescriptions.

hey man do not do that im telling you from first hand exprience its a felony obtianing a controlled substance by fraud you can get 3to5yrs for that so don't mess arond. if it is for a paper then' if the precription has to look real and be from a actual doctor then the type of medicaton brand name or generic must be on there then dosage then directions on how many times and when to take it 4 to 6 hours 2 times a day then if its a controlled substance every doctor has a dea number which must be on there you never know if there will call the doctors or not. I got away with it the first time and the second time i was caught hope this info helps you for your paper

Take it from a doc.

The first and only time I Rx'd winny for someone I knew (for a chronic injury)
the pharmacist called right away to confirm the script. You'll get busted so fast you won't have time to say "Wrong hole!"

i wouldnt do it... Ive pondered the thought... This summer when i went out in the middle of nowhere to get some fireworks... I stopped by a shitty podunk pharmacy in shit town...I asked for humalog, the pharmacist had too search forever and gave it to me without a perscription... Probably didnt know any better. If you had to do it, thats how i would... All they could do is call sheriff bobby john.
