Premade Fina Went Wrong, Some Assistance Needed

hey guys i am currently making fina.........however i believe i fucked it up..........everything is fine conversion is good and shit but when i filter it through the fucking whatman filter i ruptured the filter or something cause instead of it comming out in drops and being clear when i first started it shoots out and is cloudy like there is still that gunk (binder shit) now i have 50ml's that is contaminated with this shit still...... now question is still i refilter it to be safe or can i just heat it in oven and shoot it still ? or would you not reccomend it cause of the binders ?

I would get another micro filter and vial, and run it through again. The finished solution should be a gold color with maybe a bit of red floating around in it. Just be patient when pushing it through the filter next time, because it usually takes me about half an hour to an hour to filter.

Yes, just get a new syringe filter and re filter the solution. If you heat the solution first it will pass through alot easier.

Yeah, it passes through easier when you heat it because the filters melt in to liquid and pass through the filter without being removed. IMO, heating isn't a good idea before filtering.

Do you know this for sure, or is this an assumption??

I seriously doubt the slight "warm water" heating that is done to the pre-filtered fina has any capability to melt solid fillers into a liquid. In that case there would be no gunk at the bottom.

Mine is always a little cloudy after the first filter. I now have a nice stock of extra sterile filters and run it through a second time. I'll risk losing a couple cc's of fina for clean fina.
