I think everyone thinks about killing someone often.... now seriously thinking about it and planning things.... thats what seperates the men (or shall i say psychos) from the boys.

I understand it in the military sense because there is more motivation to save yourself than to kill someone you do not know (and that has never done you harm).
I am speaking in civilian and social terms when you have had some sort of contact with the people you want to kill (no matter how brief)
