Pre-Loading Finasteride before Primo cycle?

I'm planning a Primo cycle in a few weeks, and I am wondering about the actual science of your scalp receptors.

I have heard bro-science saying that finasteride does nothing against DHT steroids, but only prevents testosterone from converting to DHT. I have also heard that taking Finasteride pre-cycle will load your scalp receptors up with the drug, and DHT will not be able to touch it, at least largely.

I have a nice thick head of hair (thank God) but when I was running Proviron, I did notice increased shedding, not noticeable thinning, but shedding was up very noticeably. I wasn't digging the oily scalp and shedding hair at all.

Anyone know what the real deal is with Fina? Will pre-loading work to keep the scalp-receptors DHT free, at least for a little while?

Thanks bros

You already answered your own question. Finasteride will only work to prevent the conversion of DHT by the 5AR enzyme. It wont do much to reduce hair loss on primo because it is already a DHT derivative.

I wasn't stating it as fact, but saying that is what I have heard. Good to hear confirmation of that though. I guess the only thing to do is run some heavy Toco-8 pre- and during cycle, and use Nizoral shampoo.

I also wonder, with Thymosin B4's (TB-500) ability to regenerate hair, I am thinking it may also have a preventative effect while on-cycle. Worth a try anyway, but I digress.

Thanks hurricane

In relation to this topic, I have noticed like almost ZERO shedding EVER since getting on GH, I mean like while washing my hair, I will see maybe 5 hairs or so get washed out, as compared to maybe 50 or so (estimate) since as long as I can remember. Maybe I'll just extend my GH cycle to run it concurrent with the Primo, maybe just cut it back to 2iu's/day.
