Went in to do 5x5 for deadlifting, but just didn' feel like 5x5 when it was time to train so I just threw up some heavier weight. I pulled 395x2 which is a new PR for me, I want 425 by the end of the year, and im sure i can do that. Anyhow, I did rack deadlifts later on in the workout, going for 8 reps...and on my 6th rep i felt my hand rip...i knew what happened but i just screamed and continued my last 2 reps. The weight ended up just ripped threw my hand, tearing my flesh off right where my calouses are. Was nice and bloody, rather deep somehow too....I enjoyed it.
