I have been weight training now for 15 years, I am now 30 and still love to train but over the years I have learned alot about less volume and higher intensity.
I am a bigtime ectomorph with long lanky muscles and low BF%. I am 5' 10" and weigh 190 at 8% BF now. I did a few BB shows when I was 23-24 years old but nothin spectacular just low amateur though I did place second at all 3 shows. Off season I weighed around 230 at 12% but that was oviuosly not natural
It was a great experience but definately to hard of a lifestyle for me to follow for any longer.
I recently started doing some powerlifting in my routines and I have to tell you I wish I did this stuff 5 years ago. I am making tremendous gains in muscle mass and strength which I could never really do before.
I also wanted to thank whoevers idea it was to suggest 5X5's they also have helped me tremedously in the last 3 months.
These Forums are great also the people on here are very knowledgable and educated on alot of different topics. The more I learn the better.
