Power Block Dumbells

They are great. A few different sets to choose from in depending what shape you are in and what your goals.

Nothing fancy, there just dumbells. They just save a ton of space.

I got the set that went up to 80 lbs i think, then i bought the 20 lbs handle which replaces the 7.5 lbs handle so its like going up to 93.5 lbs, but i wanna get the big block kit that makes it up to 140 or something....like someone said, the only piece of homegym equip. id recommend

Yeah I loved them when I used them at a nice hotel gym. The grips were great and thick but felt very good on the hands. The only slight disadvantage is with some exercises it seems they are a little too "blocky" no pun intended so the corners may rub against your body while doing them.

I've been wanting to get these things for years. Going to have to bite the bullet and just buy them soon.

I love my powerblocks too, Now I couldnt workout with regular spin lock dumbells I used to have.

Girlwonder, I think all the powerblocks are around the same in price, but you can save alot on shipping if you go to www.home-gym.com. I think I only paid like 30 for shipping, but dont quote me on that, maybe it was 50, but it wasnt as much as the other places. Plus you got like 5 video tapes of POF, and stuff, plus a box of muscle meals, my fav meal replacement. So in all with all the stuff, it was a better deal than just buying them from the power block website.

Thanks. Yeah I think they are cuz I started searching for them in the web. Those of you who have them, what kinds of exercises that when you do them with power blocks(they tend to rub against your body)??? Are you talkin about SQUATS??? Cause I don't think I'd like that....

i have had mine for years i love them.. so compact and they are comfortable in your hand. i dont know about anyone else but for some reason the weight on the power blocks seems lighter then regular dumbels.. anyone else think that.... but for sure great investment

wonder,

Anything you can do with dumbells you can do with powerblocks. There are to many exercises to list but to name a few for the legs; dumbell squats, lunges, stiff leg deadlifts.

Also find a retailer for powerblocks in your area. Try and make a deal. Tell them you find them on the internet for a good price and see if they will match it. You should be able to get them for less than retail price.

Yes. I know that. But I was asking if you do squats, does the block brush off your legs while you're doing the excercises( cause I really hate when something like that happens)... I have the bowflex, everytime I do bench presses, the cable brushes off my arms(AND IT'S TOO DAMN ANNOYING, and it scratches my skin). I just hate that. I'm saying is it the same way with the power blocks(when it comes to doing leg exercises) because it's too "blocky"????
