I was wondering if anyone has tried any natural supps for anxiety while on cycle? Particularly theanine or kava-kava...I have heard good things about these two and would like to hear if anbody on EF has any experience with either of the two while on cycle

what is your cycle...is it cycle related?

Be careful with Kava. While it may be a mood elevator, it can affect the liver. Most people recommend that you do not drink any alcohol while using Kava, so I would assume that oral steroids would also be a no-no with Kava too. I tried some tryptophan a while back and it just made me grind my teeth really bad just like all the other SSRI's. I tried the trypto for sleep though...didn't work. Just started my next day with a fatigued TMJ.

Bennies! Valium or Xanax. Quick and effective. BUT only if can police your intake. They are addictive as hell. If you can't moderate, stay away.
Only use if you are "freaking out" and can't get a handle on your anxiety.

Just a simple sust and Dbol cycle, I believe its cycle related...just looking to take the edge off with a natural supplement and wondering if anyones had any experience with these two.

dbol is a happy pill--test may cause some anxiety---I would be careful because it becomes a vicious cycle....how long til you are of the d-bol?

hopefully less then 4 weeks ;)

I'm pretty sure test gives me anxiety. Since I've been on I keep feeling nervous like there is something I need to do - especially at night. It's hard to explain but if you've ever had anxiety you know what I mean. I have access to xanax that I take on occassion but they are addictive so be careful.

test also gives me anxiety, but now im on cycle test/eq/tren and also on ssri and not getting any anxiety atm, people report that the get overall wellbeing effect when on dbol, apparently it releases dopamine

I thought I remembered a well being effect with test, but this is different. Is it possible anavar can give anxiety?

Goku what are you on? I thought about trying lexapro - it's mild, but I have a couple friends who have completely changed their lives with it. One had social anxiety so bad he had a hard time going out to bars, etc - it was like night and day with him. He was on a small dose for approx 1 year and slowly went off. He's been off for almost 6 months and has had no withdrawal symptoms, but benefits seem to be permanent SO FAR.

Bust a nut in your bitch! that relieves any anxiety i have....and a blunt but nvm that

Phenibut works wonders for anxiety but tolerance develops quickly. If you cycle it and only use it on your worse days it remains very effective.

ive been on celephram ed for the last 3 weeks , its working very well, i also have social anxiety but now its starting to get better, last cycle i took test deca without an ssri , OMG very nasty heart palpitations had the worst anxiety ever could not sleep, now its much better while im on

and a blunt but nvm that

Only works about half the time for me, other times green gives me MORE anxiety. Wierd how it effects people differently.

Goku - I'm glad someone else thinks test causes anxiety. This is the first I've heard of someone else having this problem. For a minute I was thinking maybe my axiety condition was just getting worse because I was under the impression that test would help this matter

how bout that train wreck or purple diesel :p :spin: :rasta:

meds should be the LAST resort, if you're anxious about something then address that something

since i had generalized anxiety i got my heart checked. it was fine. then i got on some derma and felt better, end of story.

Kava does nothing.
You need to balance your vitamins and minerals. Lots of Vib B complex. Magnsium Gylcinate, Omega 3, Folic Acid and NO CAFFEINE

I'd try a natural route such as Tryptophan or 5-HTP, GABA, or St. John's Wort, or a combo of them. There's also :rasta: Better for later in the day after your workout though. It may put you to sleep altogether though. Xanax will do ya, but is there is the dependency risk, so be VERY careful.

bah , i experienced a little crazy ass anxiety on my last eq cycle and i took a soma and wham! gone within 5 minutes...of course, i don't fall asleep on somas so i don't recommend that for everyone..

Thanks everybody for the responses...I did go out and get some Kava and theanine today at a vitamin shop. I can tell you that the theanine is a great anxiety reducer..I really had a relaxed feeling all day. Benzos are a no-no for me considering their highly addictive properties, so I believe these will serve me well, considering it is nothing more than an amino acid...but only post-workout. I need SOME anxiety/nervous energy to blow through those weights, cant go into the weight room relaxed

I don't advocate the use of benzodiazepines. But if you truly are having an anxiety attack , they are the cure. That's what they were made for.
Xanax is stronger, more addictve and short lived.
Valium is smoother and longer lived.... Bottom line, They stop anxiety FAST.

The point in the anxiety is that often times you don't know what that something is. It's an uneasy feeling and is hard to calm down. If it was as simple as "addressing it" I don't think anxiety issues would be so widespread as they are...

AMEN! Try "addressing" an MI. NOOOO. You take a nitro pill and go to the ER.... You can't reason away, or meditate your way out of a heart attack!
