Post Your Pre-Workout Concoction

I'm experimenting today with something new

40g Waximaize
10g Super Plasma Protein
10g Glutamine powder
10g BCAA

Previously I was using Big Blast pre and post workout. The last couple days I haven't liked the way it has settled with me during my work out. Post work out though Big Blast is still King.

EDIT: It sounded much better when I typed it out

Taste - 0/10
Texture - 0/10
Drinkability - 1/10

Once I choked it down though, I feel pretty good. Lets see how arms go today.
 
WMS tastes real chalky and bulk BCAAs taste even worse.

Swap that Glutamine for Leucine and you'll be better off.
 
Since BIG BLAST has natural sugars I prefer it PRE workout for the energy kick , but only the Tropical orange with juice or water. Anything dairy pre workout tend to bog me down.
 
What about us douches that work out first thing in the AM?

Would you suggest Big Blast pre and post?

I agree. At first I was doing with whole milk, then switched to water. I think its a combination of Big Blast, and then during my workout I sip on Super Pump 250. I will try Big Blast with just water for pre-workout, nothing during my workout and then Big Blast with whole milk post workout and see how that goes.
 
Is this morning cardio or a full workout? I would say yes, do a serving before and after regardless.

I tend to drink a shake before bed as well...I'm concerned about 3 shakes in one day (sugar). Perhaps I'll do pre and post with a little oj and water, then just water before bedtime.

Have you ever tried taking SP250 pre workout instead of Intraworkout. It's really designed to be taken 45 min pre workout.

If you were to give this a shot, I'd say to take the SP250 45-50 min preworkout and then drink the Big Blast 30 minutes pre workout. That way you can let the stims absorb that are in the Super Pump.

You could potentially take the SuperPump even earlier if you want. Caffeine has a half life of 6 hours.

Also, Whole milk post workout can slow absorption because of the fats in the milk. I have always suggest milk post workout since Whey + Casein is much better for recovery than whey alone, but fats to slow absorption, and post workout you still want a quick nutrient uptake.

I workout in the morning and BCAAs and a simple carb source make all the difference.

Throw 4 scoops of ICE by Xtreme Formulations into some gatorade. Start sipping it as soon as you wake up, and continue sipping it throughout your workout.
