yep. its nice to have a huge stash, but does it really get you anything? no.

Actually, two houses, a couple of cars, and partial ownership of three casinos. Plus, a hot girlfriend with big tits who is surprisingly smart and works hard.

Lack of money sucks, I can tell you that. Been there, done that. I remember eating so many ramen noodles in college...lol. However, ultimately, I guess everyone knows it can't make you happy, in and of itself.

i've been in situations where i had to spend nights in my car. I never not once contacted any family member to help me out. Never took a dime from anyone EVER. There is someone here that can attest to that.

Money is a gawd damn piece of paper that means jack shit to me. It comes and it goes.

I had a job, and I was taking at least 18 hours per semester. I was a chemistry major and all my books and supplies were really expensive and were not covered by my scholarship.

All books are expensive. A hardcover chemistry book is not going to cost more than a hardcover communications book....so welcome to the college student across America club. Books are an expense not included on a tuition fee bill...along with gas, clothes, cell phones, bed sheets, pencils, posters, beer, condoms, you get my point.

My point is that students use the ramen noodle story to place pity on themselves and all the "sacrificing" they had to do in order to get that degree.

I giggle quietly to myself everytime someone tries to sell me that sob story shit.

I actually think it's harder to ask for money than to suffer...as long as it's not for things such as drugs, hardcore compulsive gambling, etc. An honorable person knows how to pay back on time and return favors.

And you just said providing for your children makes you happy, what do you think enables you to do so?

cash money bling suckaaaaaaaaahh!!!!

honestly i giggle myself... I worked 2 fucking jobs my sr year, had an apartment, paid a car note and all that humbug. and worked 30-40hrs a week sometimes.. yea, killed my ass on weekends to make extra to afford to actually eat and support my sister whom was living with me.
I don't know a nite that I got more than 3 hours sleep inbetween the studies and work.

Its sad that USA doesnt have free collegde for students with good grades through elementary and high school. And no - I am nottalking about scholarships and stuff like that. A simple - your good grades in the past qualify you in the free group of freshmen at this colledge

oh, btw - I copied all my books in colledge. But some profesors required us to buy their own books and made a list of students that did

the only thing that makes me happy is providing for the ones i love. I could go out today and spend a dozen on myself but still feel completely empty. Its my make up, I never had it I don't want it, giving is what makes me smile. My case in pt is money doesn't make ME happy, i can do without material things.. do I love to provide for everyone around me? Well yes.. i sure do.. but I have done without and have no desire to live by the green. I've raised my kids with an understanding that its only physical things, if the day ever came that they had to do with out designer things, or all that they wish for.. I know both would understand.

I've lived both ways, with and with out and i can honestly say there is no difference.

btw... again, bite my ass :chomp: :chomp:

I agree with swole ... I love the green .... I grew up with out it ...and now I made sure that I wont have to worry about food or bills ..im not rich (going by what the people around me make) but I like being comfortable ....and the saying that money cant buy you happiness ..is BS it cant buy it for you ...BUT you can find it easer if you have money for vacation and the fun things in life (like a hot rod or bike, boat) and you tend to be in a better mood when you are not stressing about bills ...but hey this is just me
