post office lost it

Anyone had the post office lose your funds on the way to the source? What type of recourdse do I have here. They said I have to wait 30 days before I can file a claim but file a claim for cash??? How far do you think that will go. This just sucks big freaking time!!!!!! I just want to go postal on them for a change. Ha!!!!

If you sent the package with a Tracking Number or Delivery Confirmation(which you always should do), then you should be able to find out EXACTLY where your package was last scanned, and that will give you an idea on where to start as far as locating it. If you did NOT send with a Tracking , or Delivery Conf. #, then you pretty much screwed yourself bro. Good Luck!

If you put a valid return addy on it chances are it will eventually come back to you or be delivered to your source. Sometimes USPS can get screwed up but letters usually reach their destination.

It was sent with a tracking number and I do have record of it being accepted at the Post office but from there....no clue. They say that they did a tracking to find the location but I think somebody ganked my sh*t and I just want to rip their f*ing heads off.

They temporarily lost my fina that I ordered. The pellets were sent next day air, and it took more than 10 days to get to me. When it came, the box was all smashed to shit.

Hey Dude:

The same exact thing happened to me!!! I sent my $$$ to my source USPS Priority Mail with DELIVERY CONFIRMATION on November 28, 2001, and all that shows on the website is that the package was accepted at the Los Angeles Post Office.

I have ordered gear several times and this has never happened to me before! I was so pissed today that I called the Post Office and they just told me that there are no guarantees. He mentioned that I can insure packages in the future in order recover the value of what I send.

I guess I will just wait until the 30 day mark and then proceed from there. I hope it is just lost...cause if it isn't I will be insuring the contents of my mailings for thousands of dollars from here on in! Those sorry ass motherfuckers can "lose" my letters or steal the contents, but in the future I will get mine!
