post cycle training

i havent seen too much info on training post cycle .it seems that this would be an important aspect to pct.i seems that the traing aspect would be important to help keep muscle gains. i would think you should reduce you volume and keep intensity high for alittle while to help preserve lbm while your hormone levels to recover ,i am just looking to see what works for others lets hear some ideas
 
Same here. I drop volume, and add a few extra recovery days in per week. I go to a more type of strength training as for PCT, which some people disagree with. Hypertrophy for when on, then strength when off. I swear i get stronger and stronger after cycle too.

A good friend of mine takes 1 week off right after juicing. Dosent make a lot of sense to me, but he says it helps his body adjust to the newly added mass. He dosent loose mass after cycles either.

I take 10 full days off

load up on 30 grams a creatine each day

then when traing start I reduce volume, and cardio and take 5 grams of creatine and 3 huge tablespoons of glutamine peptides a day
 
wow you take 10 days off omega do you loose alot of muscle im not sure if i could do that even if i didnt loose muscle i would still want to train to maintain ass much lbm as possible i know everyone is different and you gotta find what works for you have you ever tried without the breaK if so what were your results thanks for posting i think its interesting to see what others do during the post cycle period .thanks to all who replied :)
 
I am going to try a wk off postcycle this time around. The way my buddy described it to me is that your body is lieterraly beaten from the intense training and new growth while on. Taking a week rest before going back to training is nothing but good and extremely needed by your body at that point. 1 wk is too short of a time to loose a lot of gains. I imagine you would keep your diet tight as well during this time. Huge protien intake, surplus of cals. glutamine seems to fit in there nicely as well.
 
Try to increase the weights you are using when you come off.

Most guys will push their strength while on, and then when they come off they have both 1) lower T levels and 2) lower weights. These both contribute to losing gains.

You need a strong anabolic stimulus from the weights to counteract the lack of anabolic stimulus from low hormones. The way to do this is lift heavier when you come off.

Exactly , drop the metrosexual shit and focus on squats and deads and heavy rows. You have much fewer sets with which to fire your "We need test" singals in your body.
 
As a rule of thumb, ... I like to go into a cycle as strong as possible (try to max out as much as I can), then I up the reps and overall volume a little, while on, then go back to strength type training when off. I find that this works best for me.

I think that where you should really be focusing your efforts on are PCT and proper nutrition. I dont believe its solely on your training regimine whether you keep your gains or not. I think that a restored HPTA and calorie surplus will help you keep them more. I always keep my protien high after a cycle, sometimes increase it. Proper PCT drugs are important to get your natty test production back as QUICK as possible. Even with the best training regimine, if you are shut down you are going to loose gains. Hitting your nutsack with LH from HCG is important imo to rapidly restore your nut mass, and fire them up agian. Of course diet is key too. Creatine and glutamine can help here.

I guess they all play somewhat of a role. For postcycle I would rank the 3 in this order of importance.

1. HPTA Restoration
2. Diet
3. Training

I am going to take wk off this time around, eat big in this week, then change my training to strength type training and start the week after. GOing to see how this works. The more that i think of it, I do think that its a good time to give the body a break. Think of it if you were working big overtime hrs every day for 12 wks straight. You could probably use a quick re-coup break.
 
i does make alot of sense mavy i know there are lots of other factors to keeping your gains its just like achieving them your diets got to spot on and so does your training amongst other things i think a week off may be beneficial immedietley after a cycle i am gonna have to try it
