His doc is wrong, UNLESS his baseline, natural levels are below normal to begin with. Then, recovery for him is senseless. IF the doc didn't attempt a recovery cycle before committing him to HRT, then shame on the doc. Just because one's testos levels are low, doesn't mean they can't be recovered--especially if the low testos levels were caused by an AAS cycle. That is why I test all components of the HPTA--LH, FSH, estradiol, prolactin..and not just testos levels.
